A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME...
Hello! I'm Connor!
I'm a music student at The University of the West of Scotland, freelance songwriter/producer, and guitarist in alternative rock band Laments.
As a performer, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse range of bands and artists across Scotland. I’ve gained experience in various genres from hard rock and indie to alternative projects and the softer sides of pop, acoustic, and easy listening.
Since first joining the music scene professionally in 2017, I’ve built up significant experience as a musician, honing my skills through a variety of projects and performances. This journey has led me to work with numerous talented acts across Central Scotland, and more recently, to perform in shows throughout the UK.
When I'm not performing, I freelance as a recording session musician on Fiverr, specialising in production, songwriting, recording, mixing, and lyric writing.
Over the last few years, I’ve been developing my digital session musician portfolio, focusing on delivering high-quality, tailored music services to meet each client’s unique needs. My work ranges from short demos to fully produced songs, enhancing tracks through professional mixing, and providing additional instrumentation to bring songs to life.
AS A PERFORMER / MUSICIAN
I've been a part of the music scene since 2017 when I formed my first band Vague Reality. Since then I've had some amazing opportunities to work with fantastic acts such as Silvi, Shattered Glass, Unfinished Business, Wonderless, Earthbound, and most recently Laments.
Some personal highlights include headlining Glasgows iconic King Tuts stage to a sold out crowd, performing a solo slot within The Scottish Parliament building, traveling down to Stockton-On-Tees for a couple shows and packing out some of Scotlands best punk venues for sweaty intimate shows.
Over the last near decade I've had the pleasure of playing some of the smaller venues like 13th Note and Broadcast to larger venues like Vibrations Festival in Falkirk, La Belle Angele in Edinburgh and The Warehouse of SWG3.
With shows planned for later this year and into 2026, I'm incredibly excited for what's to come, to gain more experience in the industry and to expand my horizons with playing new and exciting venues for the very first time.
AS A SONGWRITER / PRODUCER
For the last three years I've been offering songwriting and producing services on the freelancing website 'Fiverr'.
This started as a way to pass some time during the lockdowns of Covid-19 but quickly became a passion of mine and something that I've started to devote a lot of my time and attention to.
In 2024, I had the pleasure of working on over 100 tracks over a scale of 24 countries worldwide ranging from lyrical writing, song production, adding additional instrumentation and mixing tracks.
It's been an amazingly rewarding experience having the chance to work with people from all different cultures and backgrounds.
While I'm still relatively "new" to the field, I'm finding ways to develop my skills and services everyday and continue to offer work of the highest standard possible.
At the moment I'm very proud to say I hold an average rating of 4.8 stars out of a possible 5.
