Catch up with old friend.

Back in 2018, my first band "Vague Reality" were booked to play a show supporting an LA-based metal act on their European tour...

Fast-forward a few weeks and the name of that act was plasted all over social media, even reaching the heights of Rolling Stone magazine.

So what happened?

"Threatin" (the artist we were booked to support) was found out to be a fraud, who had booked multiple venues across the UK in support of this tour, only for each night to be empty and for a lot of people to be left scratching their heads.

One of them was Joe, the hired guitarist for the tour who was (along side many others) was left in the dark about the whole situation.

I'll disregard all the chaos of the Threatin situation, if you want to read about that just search up his name and I'm sure it'll be the first thing that pops up.

Following all the chaos of things as it broke out and the tour eventually stopping, Joe and I kept in touch, and after a few years, we managed to catch up at the start of June for a catch up.

It was really great to be able to chat with an old friend and catch up with things, and I'm glad to hear he's doing really well at the minute and is currently on the road as part of the crew with Lionel Richie (an excellent outcome of a really unique situation before hand).

It's great to hear he's doing good and it's been fun to chat about all that chaos from before.
